How the migration works
Order a plan and share access
You order your plan and send us the access details for your current provider, for example FTP/SFTP, database, control panel or WordPress admin. Nothing changes on your old hosting; your website stays online.
We copy everything
We transfer files, databases, mailboxes and DNS records to your new container at GB Hosting. For WordPress, WooCommerce, Laravel and other PHP applications we adjust paths and configuration.
You check the preview
You get a preview address and test your website before anything changes for your visitors: pages, forms, shop, login.
We switch DNS
Once everything works, we update the DNS records. Because your website runs on both servers during the switch, there is no downtime. Your old contract keeps running until you cancel it.

Is the migration really free?
Yes.
Will my website be offline during the move?
No. Your website keeps running at your old provider until we switch DNS. After that it runs with us. Because both servers run in parallel, your visitors notice nothing.
What happens to my email?
We move your mailboxes with their content. After the switch, new email arrives with us. You may need to update your email program with the new server details; we send you instructions.
