What WordPress needs, and what you get
WordPress.org recommends three things from a host: PHP 8.3 or newer, MariaDB 10.11 or MySQL 8.0 or newer, and HTTPS (WordPress.org: Requirements). It also recommends running PHP under the account's own user rather than a shared server user.

Is WordPress hosting in Germany GDPR-compliant?
A German server location makes many things simpler but does not cover everything. You sign a data processing agreement (DPA) with us. Plugins that send data to third parties (fonts, analytics, forms) are yours to check.
