Cloud Pro at €50/mo is where most teams land: 8 vCPU and 16 GB of RAM reserved for you, 100 GB of NVMe and five domains, which comfortably carries a CRM or customer portal with a staging copy beside it. A single internal tool or a Python automation job runs well on Cloud Starter. If you are running several applications on one instance or serving heavy traffic, Cloud Enterprise doubles the resources again and adds a one-hour dedicated support window.
What is the difference between a VPS and shared hosting? expand_more
Shared plans give each site its own isolated container with a fair-use share of the server's CPU and RAM, and you work as your own unprivileged user. A VPS reserves a fixed number of vCPUs and a fixed amount of RAM for your instance alone, and gives you root: you can install any runtime, run background workers and configure services the way your application needs. Both are fully managed. The difference is how much of the machine is yours.
If I have root access, is the server still managed? expand_more
Yes. Root access is there for when you want it, and you still have our team behind you. They keep the operating system and packages patched, maintain the firewall, run the daily snapshot backups and respond to monitoring alerts 24/7. You can open the browser terminal from your control panel and work as root at any time. Or never touch it, and let our engineers handle the stack for you.
Can I run Python automation, Node.js or background workers? expand_more
Yes. That's what the VPS plans are for. Long-running Python scripts, Node.js services, queue workers, schedulers and cron jobs all run on resources reserved for your instance, so they are not throttled by anyone else's traffic. If you are not sure how to set a service up, tell our engineers what it needs and they will configure it with you.
What happens if my application needs more resources? expand_more
You move up a plan and we do the work. Our team resizes your instance to the next tier at a time you choose, and your data, configuration and IP address come with it. There are no long-term contracts, so you can also move down or cancel any time.
How do backups work, and how long do you keep them? expand_more
Snapshot backups of your whole instance run automatically every 24 hours and are copied to offsite vaults in Nuremberg. We keep them for 7 to 30 days, depending on your plan. You can restore one with a single click in the client portal. Or just ask support to do it for you.
