Which plan should I pick for a WordPress or WooCommerce shop?
Plus at €23.80/mo (incl. VAT) is the plan most shops settle on: boosted CPU and RAM, 50 GB of NVMe, three domains and a four-hour priority support window, which covers a typical WooCommerce catalogue with plugins and a staging copy. A brochure site or blog is comfortable on Starter. If you are running several client sites side by side, Premium gives you priority resources and a two-hour SLA. Moving between plans later takes minutes and costs nothing.
Is shared hosting really isolated from other customers?
Yes. Even on the Starter plan from €11.90/mo (incl. VAT) your site runs inside its own LXC container with its own root filesystem, process table, and network interface, plus a CPU and RAM quota enforced by the Linux kernel through cgroups. Other customers cannot read your files, see your processes, or consume the resources reserved for you. It is a real container, and you can see it for yourself: the browser terminal in your control panel drops you straight into it, no SSH client or key setup required.
Do I get terminal and cron access on shared hosting?
Yes. A full browser terminal comes with every plan, starting at €11.90/mo incl. VAT. You open it from your control panel and land in a shell inside your own container. Run Composer, WP-CLI, npm, git, cron and database dumps, tail your logs, or fix a stuck deploy at 11pm. On shared plans you work as your own unprivileged user, without root. Rather not touch a command line at all? You never have to. Our engineers still run the stack for you.
What happens if I outgrow my shared plan?
You move up, and we do the moving. Upgrading between shared tiers is a quota change on your existing container, so it takes effect within minutes with no downtime. Some projects need CPU and RAM reserved for them alone, like a CRM, a customer portal or a Python automation pipeline. For those, our team moves you onto a VPS instance at a time you choose. There are no long-term contracts either way. Cancel any time.
How do backups work, and how long do you keep them?
Backups run automatically every 24 hours and are copied to offsite vaults in Nuremberg. We keep them for 7 to 30 days, depending on your plan. You can restore one with a single click in the client portal. Or just ask support to do it for you.
