Our Windows servers are built for unattended robots: robots that pick up jobs from UiPath Orchestrator with nobody at the keyboard, at night, at the weekend or every few minutes.

How many robots fit on each plan?
UiPath's official documentation lists these values for each robot that runs a job at the same time (UiPath Robot: hardware and software requirements):

When several robots run in parallel on one Windows server (high-density robots), UiPath multiplies these values by the number of concurrent sessions. The figures cover the automation itself, not Windows or the applications your robot drives.

Frequently asked questions
Is a rented server suitable for UiPath unattended robots?
Yes, as long as the server runs permanently, never goes to sleep and has enough resources for each concurrent robot. UiPath supports Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025 for robots.
Can I mix attended and unattended robots?
Yes. Attended robots run in the session of a signed-in user, unattended robots in their own sessions started by Orchestrator. Plan resources for all sessions that run at the same time. We explain the difference in the guide UiPath unattended robot server requirements.
Is the UiPath licence included in the price?
No. The Windows Server licence is included. You keep managing your UiPath licences through UiPath.
What if a robot needs more power?
You can move from Windows Basic to Windows Business at any time. Our team handles the change.
Where are the servers?
In a Tier III data centre in Falkenstein, Germany, whose operator runs an ISO 27001 certified information security management system. Backups are stored in Nuremberg. You can sign a data processing agreement here: DPA (AVV).
We give you a dedicated Windows VM in Germany with the Windows Server licence included, full administrator RDP access and daily backups. We keep Windows patched and monitored. You look after your automations.
